Old World Charm

Sorry I have been MIA for awhile... I PROMISE you all, that I will get back to part two of the "Out with the old, in with the new project." If you recall, I was going to try the rustoleum product on my bathroom vanity. Well, I finished it and it looks AMAZING! You will have to wait for the results though. I am unveiling the before and after pictures to a woman's group on Friday and don't want to spoil the surprise =)

Meanwhile, here is a peak at a project I've been busy working on. These clients wanted all new custom furniture. They requested a sort of "castle" feel.
These chairs here were from Drexel Heritage Furniture.
The simple stripe pattern with velvet texture was simple, yet GORGEOUS.
The Dining Room Chairs already existed. We simply had them recovered in this rich textured velvet from Pollack & Associates.
The seats of the chairs were recovered in a 100% Post-Consumer Recycled Polyester from Maharam Fabrics. The leather chairs served as the two captain chairs and are from Lee Furniture.
The Top and Bottom sofa you see here coordinated, but DID NOT match. We did this to add variety to the space and create the look of an old world space...They are also from Lee Furniture

These chairs can be found in the office right off the great room
Last, but not least, we had a mural artist come in. I will post pictures of the other walls at a later time, but I thought you should see this ceiling medallion he created using Venetian plaster.
Stay tuned. I'm beginning to accessorize this space....

Thanks for stopping by! I'd love to hear your comments =)
