Inspiration Monday: The cutest home on a budget

Monday, June 20, 2016

Last week after featuring my friends attic, so many of you were floored at how creative she was on a budget.  Well, I have a treat for you.  This space is created exclusively from Ikea and thrifted items and it is fantastic!

Our friends bought this cute little 1920's something home in a small community not far from us.  Since then they have poured blood, sweat and tears into restoring the wood floors, painting everything a creamy white, and fixing it up to create a simplistic and beautiful space.

This beautiful sun room turned music nook is home to a grand piano that was gifted to them.  All the plants in the space add beautiful texture and interest to the light filled room.

A little turn table in the corner plays some classic music as I walk around snapping photos of this sweet space.

The sectional and lights are from Ikea. The rug from Rugs USA, and the tables are thrifted.

The dining room is just as charming as the living room.

The dining table was another gift, and the large art is from Ikea.

Maggie took this stump sanded it down and sealed it for the perfect accent table in the space.

This little wall in the entry is the cutest touch of Midwest in the space.  They painted the wall black, and made this little Lake Superior Stencil for the wall. I LOVE the lines of the stair case as well.

If you have a space that you think should be featured on the blog next Monday, send me an email!  Stay tuned later today for the announcement of the winner of the Beddy's Bed Giveaway!
